Consultation & Quotation Fees

At Raw Electrical & Data, we provide professional, detailed and transparent pricing for all projects. To ensure accuracy and allow us to properly scope your job, the following consultation and quotation fees apply.

$200 Site Visit / Consultation Fee

​

A $200.00 (ex GST) call-out and consultation fee applies where a site visit is required to assess, scope, or prepare a quotation. This fee must be paid in full prior to attendance and booking confirmation.

 

This fee covers:

​

• Travel time

• On-site inspection

• Professional consultation

• Initial technical assessment

• Project scope review

 

If you proceed with Raw Electrical & Data for the quoted works, this fee will be credited and deducted from your final invoice.

If you choose not to proceed, the fee remains payable as it covers professional time and expertise provided.

​

 

House Plan Quotation Fees (New Builds & Major Renovations)

​

For projects requiring detailed review of architectural or building plans, structured quotation fees apply due to the time required for take-offs, load calculations, and specification preparation.

​

Plan Assessment & Quotation Fees

​

Due to the time required to accurately review architectural plans, complete electrical take-offs, perform load calculations, and prepare a detailed project scope, structured quotation fees apply as follows:

​

• Single Storey Home – From $850.00 (ex GST)

• Double Storey Home – From $1,250.00 (ex GST)

• Triple Storey / Custom Homes – From $1,750.00 (ex GST)

• Large Custom, Multi-Dwelling or High-Spec Projects – Assessed upon review

 

Final pricing is determined based on dwelling size, complexity, electrical design requirements, smart home integration, switchboard upgrades, and specification level.

Raw Electrical & Data provides detailed, compliance-based electrical scopes and transparent pricing — not provisional allowances or rough estimates.

​

Plan quotation fees must be paid prior to commencement of plan review and detailed pricing preparation.

​

Revisions & Plan Changes

​

The plan quotation fee includes one (1) revision where minor amendments are made to the original submitted documentation.

Substantial design changes, updated drawings, scope alterations, specification upgrades, or additional revision requests may incur further fees. Additional revision work will be charged at the Company’s discretion and will be advised prior to proceeding.

Quotation Timeframes

​

Quotation turnaround times vary depending on current workload and project complexity. As a general guide, plan-based quotations are typically completed within 5–10 business days from receipt of payment and all required documentation.

​

Raw Electrical & Data does not guarantee immediate turnaround, as sufficient time is required to ensure accurate, compliant, and professionally prepared pricing.

​

Quotation timeframes commence only once all relevant documentation has been received, including architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications, and any required revisions. Delays in receiving complete or updated information may result in extended turnaround times.

​

If you proceed with Raw Electrical & Data for the project, the plan quotation fee will be credited toward your final contract amount.
